Fellowship Building Opportunities
At Greater New Hope we believe in the idea of community and small group fellowships. Much like the fellowship where the paralytic was brought to Jesus and lowered through the rood or where the fellowshipped and prayed for Peter while in prison only to be greeted at the door by him after his deliverance (Acts 12), we believe in small group fellowships amongst the members of our church family.
We currently have the following small groups:
-
Brothers of Christ's Kingdom (B.O.C.K) for men 18 and older
-
Women of Purpose (W.O.P.) for women 18-45
These fellowship building ministries are designed to build the members through small group fellowship with peers. They have purposely aimed lesson plans as well as trained instructors who love God and want to draw the best out of their students. These fellowships take place on and off campus according to schedule.
Church Servant Leaders
GNH believes in worshipping the Lord in Spirit and Truth. Therefore, our worship style is blended. All of our church family have an opportunity to worship, serve and minister to others in ways that help to connect them to God.
-
Deacon's Ministry: Deacons serve God, the pastor, and the congregation. They act as servant leaders in the church who assist the pastor in certain assigned duties. They serve the different members who are assigned to them for care and prayer (Acts 6:1-8). They help with the general functionality of the church.
-
Mother's Ministry: The mothers of the church are Godly, wise, elder women who serve as advisors and mentors to the younger women and children in the church according to scripture (Titus 2:3-5). They serve as encouragers and spiritual support to the men of the church. They serve as prayer warriors and are great in pastoral support.
Service Ministry Opportunities
What's your ministry? Where do you fit in?
-
Transportation Ministry: Greater New Hope offers transportation services to members who do not drive or may need transportation to church events. Transportation service workers must have a valid Arkansas Driver's license and must go through a probation period prior to transporting members and guests.
-
Recovery and Rehabilitation: R&R ministry seeks to provide spiritual support to anyone (member or guest) who may be struggling with the hauntings of spiritual wickedness that come through an overwhelming addictive spirit. Regardless of the addiction, trained and experienced counseling staff are available to empower you with God's Word. They are also present to provide spiritual support, words of comfort, and encouragement, as well as encouraging testimonies to help you know that you are not alone in this effort to overcome.
-
Media Ministry: serve as the outsourcers who are responsible for informing the members, guests, and those who join us via radio, tv, Facebook, or other media sources. They keep the memory of ministry alive through video and other media outlets.
